Public awareness campaign conceived to promote transit ridership and change the perception of public transportation. Competition involving the public in fun and educational events as well as creating interest among college bound students to consider majoring in urban planning or a field that would lead to a career in transportation.

Hairlox Company

The Hairlox Company was founded in 1969 by the late Marcus M. Griffith and operates as a manufacturer of hair care and personal care products. The leadership of the Company continues to be managed by Shirley J. Griffith and remains a privately owned family business.

Along with her daughter Marcia Davis, former Miss Maryland and Essense Magazine cover model they distribute their products throughout the United States and products are available for export to England, Kenya, and Hong Kong. The company presently manufactures more than 100 products under the Hairlox registered trademark, and also does a limited amount of private-label manufacturing.

Some of the marketing projects currently in progress include an updated Company website, the introduction of new products, innovative packaging designs, and producing fashion, career, and beauty expos.
